Karen Armstrong (1)

Karen Armstrong has been a great influence on me. I particularly value two aspects of her work. Firstly the account she gives in A Short History of Myth and her account of the importance of recovering ‘mythos’ as a way of knowing to balance the dominant ‘logos’ as a way of knowing. I will give a fuller account in due course.

  1. I just finished reading ‘Through The Narrow Gate’ and started on ‘The Spiral Staircase’ with the promise to myself that I will read all her books.

I believe, that I found some confirmation I was searching for since the age of 13 and am sure, there will be more answers when I read all of Karen Armstrong’s publications !
