I have included Angelus Silesius & Frederick Franck as two of my ‘Major Educators’ because of a particular, remarkable book called The Book of Angelus Silesius, The 17thC European Zen poet whose verses form a bridge beteen the mysticism of the East and West.

Yeats wrote “things fall apart; the centre cannot hold”, but that doesn’t mean there is no centre; it means its being re-evaluated. Here is that phrase in context:

The novel The Promise of Happiness by Justin Cartright is one of the very best pieces of modern fiction I have read. It takes place on both sides of the ‘Pond’ and I suspect that many of those interested in the holistic also find it an amazing piece of work.

The chief characteristics of coaching are that 1) it is a process to help someone get from where they are, to where they want to be - without 2) telling them what they should do.

Daniel A. Bell reported for the International Herald Tribune that China is encouraging Confucianism since Marxism no longer serves as Chinese society’s guiding ideology.
